Our love story began at Pizza Inn in Mesquite, Texas. I was 14, folding pizza boxes, while Alan was making pizzas and keeping everyone laughing. We had no idea that one summer job would lead to more than 25 years together, a beautiful family, and a lifetime of choosing each other. Sometimes forever begins in the most unexpected places.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of our favorite memories was the moment our love story became a family story. On our second anniversary, I took a pregnancy test, convinced it would be negative. Instead, we discovered we were expecting our daughter, Sofia. I called for Alan, who came running upstairs, and through tears and laughter I told him, “We’re having a baby.” In that moment, we knew our lives would be forever bonded, and our greatest adventure was just beginning.
What would you do with $20,000?If we were fortunate enough to win the $20,000, every dollar would go toward our daughter Sofia’s college tuition. Together, we’ve worked hard to build opportunities we never imagined growing up. Helping Sofia pursue her dream of becoming a nurse is one of those dreams, and this gift would be an incredible investment in her future.
