We have had many hurdles and are now managing long-distance, but our goal is to settle down together and build a life of our own.
We would like to thank you for supporting Alaina and Anthony in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met in college French class. We sat on opposite sides of the classroom. Only he and I were without a partner during the dreaded partnered exercise. The professor paired us together. I quickly realized I should’ve studied over the summer. Little did I know, he was fluent in French. Feeling humiliated, I left the class already planning to drop the class. Then he came trotting up to me insisting I was better than I thought. He walked me to my dorm and, as I now know, we were both head over heels
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? We graduated college and were forced to acknowledge that we would soon be living our lives separate for the foreseeable future. His family took us out to the only bar in town on the night of graduation. A live band was playing some of my favorite songs from the 70s. The final song of the night came and we were about to leave when I recognized the first few notes. Lenny Kravitz It Ain’t Over Til It’s Over. Our song and all too ironic for what we were about to go through. We both cried and hugged.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use it to put towards paying off our student loans so we can afford an apartment of our own. I would also use it to go towards moving to his state so our long distance period can finally come to a close.
