Eddie and I met at the young age of 18 & 20. We have been through war, army life, raising a beautiful family, and now growing old together.

In 2006, Eddie was stationed in a Stryker brigade at Ft. Lewis, Wa. Near my hometown. We met on a random night with some mutual friends at a party, and began dating the next weekend. He deployed to Iraq 6 months later and we knew it was forever after that. Now here we are coming up on our 20 year anniversary!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?After Eddie’s first deployment, we took a road trip down the coast of California. We had no plans, just money and young love. We stopped at random beaches off the highway, tried cute restaurants and spent so much quality time together after a 15 month combat tour.
What would you do with $20,000?We would love to take a honeymoon after all this time, we were married in 2009 but Eddie had to go back to Iraq soon after, we eloped and never had a traditional reception, wedding cake or dance. So that would also be on a list of things to save for!
