Danny was the school age teacher at my daughter’s day care. The two of them were like best friends. My two oldest children seen him every morning as he walked the day care kids to school but we never talked much. One day he came into my workplace and pretended he was a regular not knowing I worked there. After telling him, he told me he wasn’t a regular and stopped in because he recognized my car and wanted a chance to talk to me outside of his workplace. The rest is our love story.

We bought a home that required a complete remodel. We designed the layout, chose cabinets, flooring, paint colors and lighting fixtures. We did most of the work ourselves and grew together even more and put our relationship to the test working side by side. We laughed, we cried and we argued. Then one day we were finished. We looked at one another and looked around our home we had worked so hard on and said Holy crap , we did this. We can do anything if we do it together.

We have always wanted to take a trip to Italy to see where our families immigrated from but also recreate National Lampoons European vacation.. minus the running over the bicyclist and stolen VHS that turns into a movie. Driving across Europe in a rental car tasting food from everywhere and just being together!
