In our 20’s we had a mutual, unspoken, crush, but then I moved to LA. 12 years later we reconnected during my visit home, and I wound up snowed in at her place for three days! We didn’t plan on it, but we hooked up in more ways than one. Neither of us were interested in relationships at the time so we felt this was a safe “hook up”. As soon as weather permitted, I was back on a plane to Los Angeles. 5 months, and many long-distance phone calls later, she moved in with me in Los Angeles.

We’re best friends, really, so there are too many favorites to count! Witnessing and sharing each others’ creative successes makes every moment a favorite memory. Our collection of adventures in Los Angeles is one big awesome memory, so far…and we’d like to think that some of our favorite memories are yet to come.

We’re beyond fortunate to have each other, as well as work in the professions we love, but as independent creators in LA, we’ve always lived modestly…especially these days. We’ve managed to stay in LA while watching many of our creative friends sadly move away due to financial woes. We’d use that $$ to continue paying for the essentials while chasing our Hollywood dreams…and catching them! We’re our own bosses but can’t pay ourselves very well, so a raise would be nice…
