We met in the wild - literally at summer camp - and since then we have worked everyday for the joy we share. We are a team. And dance a lot.

At summer camp, of course. Meg was a seasoned 3rd year staffer and supervisor, and Colleen had just driven out from Colorado to start her first summer working on the ropes course. For Colleen, it was love at first sight. For Meg, it was immediate intrigue, but it would take a summer of flirtation and a few months of reflection before she ultimately booked a flight to take that first kiss in the Denver airport.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? There are too many to count, but it would have to be either learning Meg was pregnant for the first time or the birth of either of our two beautiful boys. How could it not be our kids? We began our relationship with the intention of starting a family (very old-school for two millennials), and realizing this dream has been nothing short of miraculous.
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly, most of it would go towards caring for our family. We both work full time – Colleen is a nurse, and Meg is a teacher – and we are exceptionally frugal while also trying to enjoy life along the way. Daycare is very expensive, and this money would help us cover those costs while also continuing to work on turning our yard into a drought-resistant pollinator oasis. And if there is any left, we would use it to take a trip to Yellowstone next summer.
