We met in 3rd grade at church. He thought she was the cutest girl he’d ever seen… except her laugh was too loud. She thought he was the fastest runner she’d ever seen. We didn’t start dating until 9th grade, and high school was full of on-again, off-again chapters. But we always found our way back to each other. We shared the same friends, went to each other’s senior prom, and realized our best love story had been growing since childhood.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?In 2021, COVID nearly stole our future. She spent a month in the hospital—over Christmas—in a coma on a ventilator. He came every day with his guitar, singing to her and covering her room with family photos while begging God and the medical team to save the love of his life. Thousands prayed. She survived, and he pushed her wheelchair until she could walk again. We’ve been inseparable—and even more in love—ever since
What would you do with $20,000?We’d be generous with our 4 children and 1 grandson, and then we would take the trip to Italy which we’ve been dreaming about for decades.
