At 10 we met at camp. He asked me to the square dance. I said yes then asked him his name. The next day he asked me to be his girlfriend. He had the most beautiful blue eyes & cutest tushy. Yes. My family moved to Miami. He lived in Brooklyn, NY. We saw each other 2x a year when they came to Miami for vacation. Broke up @ 14. At 20, I moved back to NY. Bored & nervous, I called & hung up 20x before his father answered. We spoke for hours & decided to go out. Same eyes & tushy! Married 36 years!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Aside from our wedding day, the births of our children & now grandchildren are some of the most precious moments in our lives. We have known each other 50/60 yrs. Looking back at the life we built, the challenges we faced and overcame, the life events we shared, the family we raised, how much we have grown and the many lives we impacted… we smile & understand that we are a match only heaven could’ve made & what a blessed life we have together. Our lifetime is our best memory!
What would you do with $20,000?G-d willing we will welcome our 4th grandchild this fall. I would start up a savings account with $2000 for each of them. I would donate $2000 (10%) as required by Jewish law to charity, save/invest 5000 and pay off some debt with the rest.
