We first met while playing wheelchair softball. We ate lunch together until he left me hanging. Then we met at the 15th anniversary of ADA downtown Chicago. I gave him rides to wheelchair basketball practice and we started hanging out. From there we were always together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?He traveled to London in 2012 by himself to see me play on the US Paralympic Wheelchair Basketball Team knowing he is scared to fly. He did that for me knowing I wouldn't have had anyone there for me.
What would you do with $20,000?Start an LLC foundation to raise funds for wheelchair basketball athletes to receive scholarship money for camps and college. And provide faith based mentoring or add a segment to FCA in wheelchair basketball. The rest I would invest.
