Connect How did your love story begin?

He was a contract worker for company events I managed. After working a few events together, he asked if we could hang out. The day of- he got a terrible knee infection requiring a shot in his butt, but even that couldn't keep him from this date (which I didn't know was a date). We got drinks, dinner and chatted for hours before he had to leave to catch his flight. At the last possible second his flight got cancelled forcing him to spend the night with me. It truly was something out of a rom com.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our first trip together roadtripping down the Oregon coast is full of them. We'd been doing long distance for a few months and hadn't spent more than a few hours physically together so this was a big step. I flew out and we spent the weekend exploring several beaches and towns down the coast, going to the Tillamook factory (we got matching shirts like dorks) and getting to know each other. One of the best moments was singing "A Whole New World" in the car.

What would you do with $20,000?

While we could use it for a down payment on a house because we don't live together yet - we'd more likely put it into a travel fund so we can continue our world adventures together. We love traveling and have a sizable bucket list of locations to check off! That may sound reckless or selfish, but life is short and we intend to live it to the fullest!
