We went to the same high school, same grade, same mutual friends, never met until college. 13 years later, together, married my best friend.

College in accounting class, before all the dating apps launched we met the traditional way. We first began as study buddies and then decided to go on a double date with our mutual high school friend and his girlfriend at the time. They cancelled last minute but I was adamant to still go, so we went as friends and ended the date with something more. Next date he decided to take me skydiving, and knowing us we like to take risks. A risk I was willing to take, if I made it out alive then he’s it.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Being at each other’s home countries. I’m Korean and he’s Guatemalan so there’s definitely a lot of embracing each others cultures with our relationship. Last year he went to Korea and this year I went to Guatemala. We thoroughly enjoyed knowing where we came from and respected each other’s cultures even more.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use it to travel, that’s one of our favorite things to do as a DINKWAD (dual income no kid with a dog) couple. We love to see what else is out there and enjoy the food and culture that the world provides. And this time we can bring our dog , Twinkie!
