Connect How did your love story begin?

We met serendipitously at a Cubs game at Wrigley Field. Memorial Day weekend, 2019. Zach was visiting Chicago for a boys trip. While I finally had a day off after a bartending shift got canceled and decided to go to a game by myself. I told myself that I was going to be on a budget and do "standing room only" and only bring enough cash for my ticket, a Chicago dog, and 2 beers. Zach being a stinky Reds fan and me being a loving Cubs fan, we somehow hit it off (miracles do happen everyday).

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our first vacation as a couple was California. We went to LA & San Diego, of course we saw all the sites- Hollywood, Chinese Theatre, Beverly Hills, etc. We had a blast, but that wasn’t my favorite memory. My favorite memory & the best part of the trip, was driving from LA to San Diego, with the top down of the convertible, blasting our tunes, the shining, and the ocean leading the coast the entire way. I can smell the ocean, remember how the sun felt on my skin, with salty air in my hair. 🌊☀️

What would you do with $20,000?

Zach & I both grew up with humble beginnings and we’ve worked hard to build a life together from the ground up. We’re paying for our wedding on our own, & while love is at the center of it all, having $20k would mean we could give our loved ones the celebration they deserve, something filled with joy, gratitude, and memories we will all cherish forever. We want people to feel our love. Lastly, 20k would also help us pay to get our parents to travel overseas to be present during our wedding.💕
