I think it begins with the laughter. How we make each other laugh. Because even in worst of times, tickling each other’s funny bone helps.

We met through the love of cycling. But, at the beginning we were with other people. Several years after our breakup with the exes, we met by chance. Fell in love, & then got through our 3 middle schoolers raging hormone years…together. Then we married.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It’s a recent memory. We were at a singer/songwriter event. A group of young women, by chance, stopped at the show. We sang, they expressed love for us (it was a bachelorette group). Two days later they walked into a place where we were attendees. Two towns away. They saw us and said in unison, “It’s the Worley’s.” Small world. Beautiful people.
What would you do with $20,000?Not to make light of the 20k, but having survived Hurricane Helene here in Asheville, we would spread a lot of the money around. So many service workers are still hurting. Tourism is down and that’s what keeps the wheels turning. We already have a “going out” budget, but having a little more to share would be awesome. Also, my husband buys high end beer so 20k would offset his obsession with foamy stuff.
