Our story started over 20 years ago and through all the trials and life changing events, we’re still here, standing stronger than ever.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
We met in elementary school, my husband was my bestfriends cousin. We saw each other frequently but it wasn’t until high school where we would hang out and become high school sweethearts. After graduation though, we went on a rollercoaster ride. We went on a long break. We reunited years later, after he joined the army and I had my first born. We eloped months later. It wasn’t easy at all, but we’ve been through 3 deployments, now have 3 kids and been through 5 moves and still going strong.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I feel like it’s the little things that become our favorite moments and there’s many of them. Like our date nights that we got to enjoy when we had a sitter or getting the kids in bed early and having a movie date on the couch or just cooking our meals together and turning it into a party. I feel like everytime my husband came home from deployment will also be one of my favorite memories.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 we would probably pay off a few of our debts and get some things we’ve needed but couldn’t afford, life gets hard and the things we’ve had to deal with for the last few years have almost broken us as humans but we’re still surviving. We would probably also try to do something memorable with the family, it’s been a long while, like a family trip would be nice.
