In July,2004 my friend invited me to a church gospel meeting. On our way she said "by the way I invited BJ to go out for for ice cream after church". I said " really do you like him". She said I don't know, maybe. As we were ordering our ice cream I looked over at him and asked " so how old are you"? He said I'm 25. I thought to myself he's my age. I was 23, and my friend was 19. As we sat down to eat our ice cream BJ and I just talked and we didn't want to stop. It was love at first sight ❤️ .
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I knew from age 9 I would not be able to have children. When he talked with me about marriage I looked at him and I said "I have to tell you I will not be able to give you children". He hugged me and said " that's ok, we'll adopt". Then he kissed me. I was bursting in tears. We adopted our three boys from foster care. They are mentally and cognitively impaired. We've been by each other's side through it all
What would you do with $20,000?Using it as part of a down payment for a new house for us and our boys. They're not able to live on their own.
