On a Cinco de Mayo in Phoenix. We were sitting near one another. He heard me talking about a beach I frequent and started talking to me. The band started playing and he slid over closer. Easy conversation. A girlfriend texted me to remind me I agreed to go dancing with her (I hate dancing) and he offered to go with me, so I had someone to dance with. Been together ever since. Feels like we've known each other forever.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Dating 2 weeks and took my BRAND NEW 4Runner off-road to a secluded hot spring. He was driving us back and there was a "water crossing" which turned out to be the Verde River! The 4Runner filled with water, covering the back seats. I climbed out the window and yelled to some teenagers for help. We got the trunk out. He got out of the drivers side, water POURING out, I was still in the river, soaked. Our eyes locked and we both exhaled and started laughing.
What would you do with $20,000?We would take the kids on a fun vacation before they are grown and, I know it is not exciting, but we would use it as a downpayment for a property to grow old on.
