Connect How did your love story begin?

Wally and I met on the dating site Plenty of Fish and I joke and say I went fishing and caught a Walleye! LOL We talked and got to know a little about each other and then had plans to meet on a Friday evening. I had the day off and had just got home from the Social Security office after changing back to my maiden name when Wally texted me and said 'Look behind you' and there he was at the end of my driveway. I flung my car door open and ran into his arms like I had known him my whole life.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I can't pick one memory there are so many amazing moments of us together having a great time. I guess it would have to be the day we met. We were riding in his car and he looked at me with a tear running down his cheek and said I LOVE YOU! As crazy as it sounds, I replied the same. I never thought love at first sight existed, but it definitely did in our case. Then he turned off the radio and did a rap for me that he and a friend wrote as kids. If I didn't already love him, that guaranteed it!

What would you do with $20,000?

We have been talking about having a 5-year wedding anniversary party with a full set of instruments setup and make it an open mic night so all of our musician friends can get up and jam and have a great time celebrating love. Everyone that was at our wedding talks about how fun it was and when are we doing it again so, this would help that happen. If we have enough, we'd love to take our dog Bama on a camping vacation.
