How did your love story begin?

He was the leader of “the DORKS of the round table" in college & on the way to a 4th of July, the other friends dropped out & we ended up having a blast just us two. We kept hanging out as friends, quickly becoming best friends. It just made sense to be together forever. He had crushes before but never pursued anyone else until God approved-He said ABSOLUTELY to me! I was his first kiss, his only gf & wife! We got married in less than a year because we just knew we were soulmates.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

New: While running errands I called him with the news that I have something weird. I pulled it out of the bag and he guessed it was a shrilling rubber chicken. He proceeded to pull up the rubber chicken “never gonna give you up” while we tried to practice squeezing that song, laughing hysterically. Old: On vacation we saw a homeless man on the boardwalk & gave him my dinner leftovers, he told us his story, we had the most amazing conversation while the sun set. He’s still in my prayers today.

What would you do with $20,000?

We'd pay￬ debts, invest, & be able to support mission work in our community (esp. anti-trafficking). (Continuing the 1st question cuz the character limit's too short)…and so I became his caretaker. We tried every medication & therapy to no avail & also were unable to conceive. Oct of '21 Jonathan was fully healed & got his dream job ministering to high school kids, sharing the purpose, joy & hope he found amidst suffering. We are accepting God’s plan for our reach to go beyond a nuclear family.
