We met in high school theater and became friends. This boy would walk 5 miles to my house to sit on my porch and talk in the middle of the night. We stayed friends for about 10 years. I was in a very abusive marriage and when I finally got out and had nowhere to go he took me in. He told me that he had feelings for me but wanted to give me the time I needed to heal. I quickly realized that I wanted him, I had always wanted him and so we began to date. He helped heal me.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There's so many, we're best friends so everyday is a new memory. Whether we are going on a fun outing or proper date, running errands, or gaming together on the couch. We just simply enjoy one anothers company.
What would you do with $20,000?We would be able to finally take a vacation. It's been a rough year. He needs a back and shoulder surgery, I need back surgery and just had another major surgery. We are both very tired. I work two jobs, 6 days a week and he works a very demanding job and it has been very hard to take time off together to do something nice. It would also be great to have some money set aside for a wedding!
