My husband and I met 51 yrs ago. We met in front of Independence Hall and have been together since. Been married 44 years and going strong.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
My husband Joe had his office down the hall from the company I worked for. He used to say good morning or afternoon to me and the girls I was with. I was kind of shy so never really said anything to him. I worked for an export company and was returning to the office after dropping off papers to a consul. He was going to lunch and stopped me and we talked. We discovered we only lived 10 blocks from each other and he started driving me home. I hated taking public transportation. LOL
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? We live in Philadelphia and whenever we see Independence Hall either on TV or in person we always talk about the day we met in front of Independence Hall it’s our favorite memory of meeting and falling in love. He is the love of my life.
What would you do with $20,000?Joe and I live in the city and our boys and their families live in the suburbs. We would like to move closer to our family which would make it easier since we are getting older. And if the house we want doesn’t have everything we need or want we can use $20,000 to make renovations or improvements. Thank you
