Our love story began on the Black People Meet dating site. I innocently went on the site to pass time. James was looking to date with a purpose, but I wasn't. As a seasoned woman who was still nursing scars from past relationships, I was defiant and dead set against being in a committed relationship and marriage was certainly out of the question, but God had different plans for the both of us. My healing and belief in love, came by meeting my fiancée. Then love wasn’t a choice it was inevitable.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory that we shared as a couple was our recent trip to Ghana West Africa. It was so amazing to experience so many emotions during our learning journey and to have shared it with something so intimate for the first time with a significant other was something I will never forget. It was while in Ghana that we discussed setting a date to marry. James broke me down again because prior to going to Ghana I was just fine being a "forever fiancé."
