A gay couple that’s been together for 8 years? UNHEARD OF. We’re opposites in almost every way but somehow just work. Big fan of variety!
We would like to thank you for supporting Tyle Chanell in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met in college when Kyle was attending university in Tennessee and I in Atlanta, GA. We dated for 6 months long distance before Kyle moved to Atlanta for grad school (because of me). Being a gay couple it can be hard to meet people and we actually matched on Tinder when I was attending a wedding in North GA just 100miles in reach of where he was in TN.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our first trip together we traveled to Washington DC as a celebration for us both graduating school. We fought the ENTIRE time. In a moment of frustration and rage we ended up drinking wine on the kitchen floor of our AirBnB, eating the best smoked wings we had ever had, laughing. It was a very special moment of laughter and love in what seemed like a dismal time.
What would you do with $20,000?We host weekly gatherings with our friends, and having an outdoor oasis to host in would go a long way in our community. We currently live in (what I think is) a beautiful home in Decatur GA. Kyle has all the math analytical skills and I with the creativity, we would use the money to build out our dream backyard. Fire pit, pergola, landscaping, the whole thing! I’m currently planning on doing the entire project myself but this prize would help immensely to help our vision come to life.
