How did your love story begin?

5 years ago (2 short months before the first COVID-19 quarantine) we met on Bumble. He liked me because I was sassy and blunt, and I liked him because I could tell he could handle my fire. As Trent would tell it, he had a list of what he knew he needed in a partner, and I checked all his boxes and then some. He knew it after the first date. It took me a little longer to fall head over heels… until the second date! He had heard that I loved to dance, and surprised me with a group tango lesson!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

For our anniversary last year, Trent took me to a private pole dancing lesson. I have been pole dancing for a few years (and doing ballet before that for over a decade), but this was his first real experience with dance. We learned some spicy tricks together, and he fell just as in love with it as me! Now he is well on his way to outmatching my own skills.

What would you do with $20,000?

We are both yoga teachers, and don’t make a lot of money. We have been together for 5 years, and engaged for 3. Although we are already married at heart, we would love to be able to finally marry by law. We would use some of the money for our wedding, and some to invest in our first home!
