…. “it’s like a song I never heard, I never sung…but know the words…” Babyface. It started in October 1995 while at a college graduate recruitment fair. We met at a concert over a piece of gum. We kept in touch and when a letter arrived saying he was making a conscious effort to remain connected (giving me his parents/grandparents contact information) I knew...and from that first 12 hour phone call until now...he continues to take my breath away:)
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Thirty years together, 27 years married, its difficult to decide on one favorite memory because we have so many. Simply spending quality time together gazing into each others eyes, a simple touch, or him simply leaving the lights on outside when I am arriving late so I am not in the dark...every part of our life and love is a favorite memory because he is intentional about making it that way every single day. His patient, gentle love and the life that we have built together is my favorite!
What would you do with $20,000?We would take time to get away to spend even more quality time with each other continuing our 30 year bond and discover new adventures....together. In addition we would make a change or two to our home since almost a year ago it was crashed into by a drunk driver. Love wins...every time!
