Friends since 2006, together since 2011, married since 2017, to say we're best friends is an understatement. What we are is unbreakable.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
My husband, Tracey, and I met on the first day of high school back in 2006. I approached him with the hope of starting high school off strong, but unfortunately, he thought I was a little weird. Still, we ran in the same circles and after high school, continued hanging out since we lived in the same neighborhood. (Suddenly, I wasn't so weird.) Soon, my friend was my best friend, then my boyfriend, then fiancé, and now husband.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Both of ours are different, of course, but mine would be the moment I knew I had the best man out there. I was curled up on the floor in pain, as I'm sure a few women can relate to each month. We had just moved in together and he hadn't seen me suffering like this before. Tracey had just gotten a video game that he was so excited to play. Instead, he turned off his game and spent the night placing hot towels on my body and wiping my tears. That's when I knew the kind of man he was.
What would you do with $20,000?A down payment on a house. We've been attempting to save what we can, but on top of life being life, we also have a 4-year-old daughter with a genetic condition, 22q11.2 deletion (DiGeorge Syndrome). She's had 2 open heart surgeries and 1 trip to the cath lab, on top of various doctors and therapies that she continues to attend. We do it all as a family. Every time. Together. It would be nice for us to have a home to create as a family, too. A place that's OURS. Really ours.
