How did your love story begin?

I was in a very abusive relationship when we met… and on July 10th 2018 I took my last beating… after the police arrived and took him away… I had no one to vent to… sitting on my bed with tears in my eyes I scrolled through my phone looking for someone to talk to… my thumb landed on Mr. Tory… surprisingly, he answered the phone and I explained what had happened and he invited me out for a game of pool on a Wednesday night… I agreed and we met! After that day we haven’t spunt one day apart!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

The day he picked me up for our date we talked about air planes… lol I was like who is this guy… bc I’ve always known him… but out of respect , because we were both with someone at the time… we never pushed up on one another.. just bbqs and spades… lol I remember one day at my house for a cookout… I was washing dishes and he stopped at the sink on his way out and said, “Patrice! You’re a very peculiar person… I just laughed… he sipped his beer and went out the back door.

What would you do with $20,000?

I think and this is just me… I think we would have the wedding of my dreams… we’ve been together for 8 years since that day… and it just made one year, on June 25th we’ve been married! He is truly the love of my life and I’m so glad he answered that day… when your in abusive relationship you can’t just leave you need a plan! And he protected me when no one did! He provided me and my daughter with shelter and a vehicle and I am forever grateful for my hero! Because he did not have to answer 😊
