We both worked at Kroger. Tony had a friend ask if I would go out with Tony. I said no, since he can't ask for himself. Then one day I was at work and Tony shows up, he had been camping, so he had that wildness about him. He did not care about the customers, he got right in front of me and I got to stare into his green eyes up close. He asked me out, he was smiling, then I smiled and said, "Yes"! Then I told him to go away, I was working. He nearly skipped out of the store.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have had so many great memories. Besides the birth of our children, the baptisms in our family, because God is #1. Our first Christmas before we got married, we were still in high school. He gave me a box about 2'x 2'x 2'. I started unwrapping. I don't recall how many boxes were inside one another until it came to a tiny ring box with my promise ring in it. Wow, the excitement!
What would you do with $20,000?Buying supplies to remodel our cabin and pay someone to help us at least a little. Pay someone to trim a few trees or rent a scissor lift and do it ourselves. Buying fencing to finish our fence. Buy some lambs to put in the fence. Have a huge BBQ and family play day at the house to celebrate project completions! Yay!
