In kindergarten! Then I moved away. 19 yrs later we were reunited/reintroduced on a blind date in college! From losing our entire home to Hurricane Harvey, losing 2 children, losing my husband’s health due to a disease, and a brain tumor, losing the ability to walk/drive/work/being total wheelchair bound to losing parents- no matter how big the loss was, we are still best friends and soulmates! We thank God for our inseparable bond and the blessing of each other. We have a unique love!

My husband’s physical therapists helped him take steps to walk to me & kiss me on our anniversary. He lost the ability to walk 6 yrs ago due to a mismanagement of his medical care,he is in a wheelchair completely. He told me he had an anniversary surprise. He had been practicing walking in physical therapy & with help, was able to take 50 steps to be able to kiss me. I haven’t kissed my husband standing up in six years. I was able to look up to my tall, handsome husband and kiss him standing up!

Take my husband on vacation. Ideally, somewhere that’s accessible for him to be on a beach maybe & enjoy his toes in the sand, to relax & find sea glass together (our past time/hobby before he got sick). We never get to go on vacation due to his health decline. So I would spend the money on us getting to enjoy a vacation. If there were to be money left over, I would pay to have in home therapy daily for him to walk again. Anything left would help catch up on bills from him being unable to work.
