How did your love story begin?

It began when we came together to lean on each other for support after our respective spouses passed away. The interesting part is the four of us were good friends that took trips together, had dinners, etc. His wife passed away from an illness, my husband passed unexpectedly, 30 days apart, same year!!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

When we took our first trip together as a couple to Florida, we were at a restaurant in Daytona that sat on the Ponce De Leon inlet. It was not overly busy, we were approached at our table by a gentleman who was leaving. He said he just wanted to say how nice it was to see two people so very happy and so very much in love! It was all over our faces, he said, and it was refreshing to see! We still talk about that day and we have gotten several compliments like that on several more occasions.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we had $20,000, we would like to fix our floor in our little park model in our 55+ park where we live. We had one put in last year, but we got a bad deal. The floor is completely starting to up in several places and there are several soft places. If there is money left, we would take a driving trip along the east coast through Maine and such. Stopping at all the little towns and taking our time. Driving because if you fly, you can’t see all the good stuff.
