We met at a wedding in June of 1973. Our best friends were marrying each other. He was the best man and I was a bridesmaid. He asked me out at the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding and I told him no. I really wasn't interested. He didn't give up. So in frustration, I told him we could go out after the wedding. At the wedding reception, I met his whole family. Talk about a nervous wreck. That started a 2 1/2 year journey of dating then marriage 11/14/1975.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Having our 3 sons, raising them and being involved in their lives and activities. Seeing them all married and having our 4 grandchildren. Spending time with our families and our friend all these many years. Memories that will last a lifetime.
What would you do with $20,000?Take a vacation. We have never been vacation takers. And save the rest for retirement.
