We met when we were both singing waiters in Norfolk, Virginia. I accidentally passed gas when we had only been dating for less than a month. I was so embarrassed but Tom said “listen” and proceeded to fart on command! In that moment I knew I had found my forever person.Since then we’ve used humor as a way to get through all the challenges life has thrown at us.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There are so many, including the birth of our son. But honestly I feel like the first moment we truly laughed at the moment of the above situation. It set the tone of how we would live, with laughter and support of each other.
What would you do with $20,000?We would definitely set aside some for a vacation, donate to causes that mean something to us, and the responsible thing of paying some bills.
