We met in 1992 through a mutual friend. I instantly loved the fact that Jim loved his family. Moreover, both of our families accepted each of us with zero issues and it was like we had known each other our whole lives! My first memory of Jim was when we met at a bar in Charlotte … I jumped out of my car at the ATM, left it running with the door wide open. Jim jumped out of his car , turned mine off, and stood there until I got the money. We have spent 33 years laughing about that!!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We went to Tahiti and survived a really bad accident getting swept off a rock by a rogue wave. After the accident , once we both realized we were alive, and found each other from being dumped on opposite ends of the pacific…. I saw Jim and told him to help because my pancreas was in my pocket…..(because I was bleeding ) … when Jim looked it was a wet pack of cigarettes….. not a vital organ….
What would you do with $20,000?I work at a cancer center, Jim and I would like to create some hygiene/ toiletries bags to hand out to our chemo and radiation patients. Also maybe have a great dinner out and save the rest! Definitely not a redo in Tahiti!!
