Connect How did your love story begin?

We both worked at Starbucks. I was in a relationship and he was the store cutie, but I still couldn’t ignore that bright smile of his. A while after my relationship ended, I shoot my shot, even though I don’t like competition, but I had to try. I had just turned 21, and wanted to hear about his experience at another store. “How about I tell you over drinks.” And thus, our first date was upon us. I loved our subtle flirting, but once i moved stores, we made it official. It’s been 3 years!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Ugh, a tie between two! 2021 was a very hard year for me, I needed a trip to NEW YORK and I didn’t care if I had to take it alone, that’s what I told Billy. “Well, you don’t need to go alone, I can come if you’d like…” We weren’t even official! But, we did it. In the span of two weeks we made a plan and flew out to New York, I wouldn’t have it any other way, and our last night there, he asked me on the terrace of our NY hotel, to be his girlfriend.

What would you do with $20,000?

My other fav memory is our trip to Mammoth! Most guys do not take on the task of teaching their girlfriend how to snowboard, but Billy never left my side. Even when we got lost, and had to unhook to trudge through the trees, we stuck by each others side laughing and falling and finding unusual ways to get down a couple more feet. Oh! But $20,000 we’d definitely go on a Trip just us two, all inclusive no kids please (I’m 24) and then we’d put the rest towards our moving in together fund!!!
