How did your love story begin?

We met by mistake on social media and began talking. As we started talking we couldn’t believe we lived in the same community and never knew of one another. We had the same interests and taste in things. We got closer & talked a lot about God and he was not religious. He asked me to marry him but was diagnosed with cancer and he said he couldn’t burden me with it. I stood by him through 2 cancer surgeries, Bilateral Pulmonary Embolisms, DVT in his leg and cancer treatments. We then were married.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We have been married 9 years & lived in 3 different states with lots of firsts together. I think our favorite memory would be getting the diagnosis he was cancer free and I surprised him with his first vacation. I took him to Florida and he didn’t want to leave. He was so carefree & enjoyed living life we went back home and sold our home and moved to Florida. We made a decision to love each other, live and experience life.

What would you do with $20,000?

Well since my husband’s cancer diagnosis, surgery and treatments he has not worked. I am the only one working in our home. Winning this would really help us financially. I would pay some bills, take a trip to see our family. We are expecting grandchildren but most importantly be able to afford a trip and spend quality time together.
