Connect How did your love story begin?

As far as love story beginnings go, I'll admit, ours is a bit cliche. We met working together at a furniture store- me in the office, and Tim in the mattress department. We spent the better part of a year saying very few words to each other. That is until our company invited us both to partake in a "Fantasy Day," playing baseball at Fenway Park. We had our first real conversation, and I was hooked. I knew I wanted to talk to this man for the rest of my life, and thankfully, Tim felt the same.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

While we cherish every moment together, there is one recent memory that stands out- our engagement. This past Christmas morning, when we were about to leave for his parents' house, Tim convinced me I needed to see a window display at a bar we go to downtown. We headed in that direction, but he stopped me in front the big Christmas tree in the square. It wasn't until that very moment that I knew what was happening, and my heart just filled with joy. We then got to celebrate all day with family.

What would you do with $20,000?

I can't begin to explain the impact $20,000 would have on our lives. While some would go to our upcoming 2026 wedding, most would go toward a downpayment on a home. We don't need much, but Tim and I are eager to get out of our one bedroom and dream of putting down roots in a home fit for our future and maybe one day, a growing family.
