We've built a rock solid relationship with God as our foundation.
We would like to thank you for supporting Tim and Alanna in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met at a truckstop in Curtiss, Wisconsin. Tim came in to dine and I was his server. He gave me a wink and I drew a little picture of a dog on his receipt. He asked "does this picture come with your phone number?" I smiled and wrote it down. Over the next few months we would drive around the country roads and look at all the farms, dreaming of having our own someday. We got engaged 10 months later, married a year after and started to build our lives together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? We've enjoyed so many moments together. Some favorites like hunting, fishing, long walks through the woods in the fall, and building our farm together come to mind. But we both agree our favorite is sitting in the grass together and just watching the sun set on a warm summer evening. Little moments like that are the best.
What would you do with $20,000?Buy land. We bought my Great Grandfather's old farm from my parents and have been wanting to buy back the land that was originally part of his farm. Our goal is to use the money to buy some of it back and expand our miniature beef cow operation.
