Our love story began over a simple game of dominoes. We knew we had to follow our hearts in just a few short months. Neither of us has regretted the decision to drop our old life and begin a new. The past 5 yrs has been a struggle with cancer, treatments and complications. I could not have asked for a better partner during these challenges. I woke up from a coma and he was sitting right there holding my hand.

There are many, but it would have to be, the time he surprised me with a very romantic week at Lake Lure, NC,/Chimney Rock, NC. He about drove me crazy for several weeks before. Everyday he would leave a post-it-not on the bathroom mirror. Example= Make sure you pack this or that. Every time I ask, where we were going, he would simply say "If I told you that, it would spoil the surprise". He picked me up from work that October night and said. *Let's go". He still would not tell me any details.

Spending the last 5 yrs in and out of hospitals, cancer, surgeries, treatment and complications, my husband deserves a thank you that I can’t afford. We would love to take a romantic cruise to Alaska, Hawaii or Italy. Or any place to thank him for being the most loving, caring, and compassionate partner in this life.
