How did your love story begin?

We met on a dating app. It's not the most romantic story. We had both been dating online for a while with no success so I don't think either of us thought on our first date that it was with our future spouse. At the end of the date Neal thought I didn't like him, so he was surprised when I wanted a goodnight kiss.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We have had great times traveling together (snorkeling in DR, walking the cliffs at Slieve League, antiquing in MI) & finding adventures in Chicago (festivals, concerts, discovering new places), but our favorite story is probably our engagement. We had spent the day doing a scavenger with our close friends and at the bbq after Neal shocked everyone by walking up while I was playing Corn Hole to propose. Noone had time to even get their phones out or know what was going on before he was on 1 knee

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the money to fund a good vacation. We have had a lot of loss and stress over the past few years so we have not been able to go on a vacation for more than a weekend somewhere we could drive. We have talked about going to Japan visiting some cinema sites (Twin Peaks, The Shining) in the Pacific NW. The money would also help us care for our cat who has a seizure disorder and needs regular medical care and medication daily.
