Connect How did your love story begin?

We joke that we’re an “arranged marriage.” My mom found my husband at church while I was living in Nashville. Later, she met his parents at dinner, and he walked in! Turns out, we grew up together in the same Sunday school class and our parents went to high school together. Before meeting, we talked on the phone for weeks, not knowing what each other looked like. Fate (and our moms) brought us together in the most unexpected way!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We don’t have one specific memory, but we love seeking adventure wherever we are. From exploring the streets of New York City to learning to surf at Dog Beach and swimming with dolphins in the Bahamas, we embrace new experiences. Our biggest adventure yet has been starting our Nutrition club, combining our passion for exploration with helping others. Every day brings new opportunities, and we’re excited to keep discovering and growing together.

What would you do with $20,000?

Receiving $20,000 would let us give back even more to our community. We’d use it to grow our Nutrition club, creating a positive space focused on health and wellness. As a small business, our goal is to support and uplift our neighbors—helping everyone feel happier and healthier. This funding would allow us to expand our outreach, offer more resources, and make an even bigger impact on the lives of those around us.
