We met in 2006 in Al Saad, Iraq through a mutual friend. We dated and traveled, but life pulled us apart when Sam returned to the U.S. In 2019, his dad messaged me on Facebook Sam wanted my number. After 13 years with no contact, he told me that losing me was his greatest regret. Life paused us again, but in 2022, we finally reunited. From that moment on, we were inseparable. Love patient and persistent brought us back where we belong.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite shared moment was our honeymoon cruise. It was the first time either of us had ever set sail, and it felt like stepping into a dream. The ocean stretched endlessly, the sunsets melted into the horizon, and for those few days, life slowed down to just the two of us laughing, exploring, and loving every moment. It was beautiful, peaceful, and magical everything a perfect vacation should be, and everything our hearts needed.
What would you do with $20,000?If we won the $20K prize, we’d use part of it as a down payment on an investment property to keep building our future together. And we’d set aside a portion to book a Christmas cruise, this time with our son. He’s never been on a cruise before and sharing that joy with him during the holidays would be a dream come true. For us, it’s about creating memories and planting seeds for the life we’re building as a family.
