I was a single mom, he would come into my work and go through my register to see me. I knew him from a mutual friend. He was in a huge fire as a kid and I knew him from his story. He asked me out and I almost cancelled our date, but a friend of mine said, “who knows he could be your husband!?” I laughed. But we had to most memorable first date. With help of the beautiful beach it was safe to say I fell in love with this goofy, nervous tall man.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory is us building a family rooted in Christ. Raising children who have a mom and dad who love each other. Coming from broken homes we vowed to change generational bonds that were a pattern. We are the first generation of “Yes” to a life in Christ as husband and wife.
What would you do with $20,000?I would tithe first and foremost. Every gift we give God glory for and give back to the church. We would love to use it for our forever home. It’s our dream to own our home and build it into our own as a family.
