Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in the most unexpected place—a grocery store deli in 2014. We were both fresh out of high school, just starting to figure life out, and clocking into a job that was supposed to be temporary. But fate had other plans. It was love at first “slice.” There was an instant spark, a pull we couldn’t explain. We didn’t fall in love overnight, but we knew—from the very beginning—that this was just the start of forever.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

After 10 years together, choosing one favorite memory is tough—but our Alaska honeymoon steals the show. We went dog sledding, saw glaciers and bald eagles, fed a moose, and even pet a porcupine (softer than you'd expect!). Every moment was filled with laughter and wonder. That trip wasn’t just an adventure—it was a celebration of everything we’ve built, a reminder that love grows deeper with every wild, beautiful experience shared

What would you do with $20,000?

If we won $20,000, we’d tackle our biggest stress: debt—from student loans to mortgage and car payments. It wouldn’t clear everything, but it would give us breathing room to build our future. We’d take a meaningful trip to reconnect and celebrate our journey. And because bulldogs stole our hearts (our wedding was bulldog-themed!), we’d give back by supporting Kansas City’s bulldog rescue—a cause close to us and our story.
