"If I had it to do over again, I wish we would've met each other sooner, so we could've loved each other longer." We met on an app in February 2019. John's profile said, "Just a guy who loves Jesus, naps, and music." We had an instant connection. Concerts, go karts, dancing, arcades, karaoke - we fell in love while having fun. John proposed at Thanksgiving dinner with our families present during an after dinner walk on the beach - Brooke said yes! We married on 'COVID Eve': March 16, 2020.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?John says one of his faves is when he proposed. He knelt down and quoted the famous When Harry Met Sally quote, "When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible." Instead of immediately saying yes, Brooke said, "Should I run away screaming for the photo op?" We still laugh about that to this day. We make memories everyday, though, so this is just one of many.
What would you do with $20,000?We've been trying to start a family. Because we married a little later in life, getting pregnant has been tough. We lost our angel baby to a miscarriage in 2023. We've been struggling with fertility treatments and the associated costs. $20,000 would help us start our family.
