You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
Yes, we were high school sweethearts, I know cliche. Suzanne is a year younger and sat in front of me in history class. I was running for student counsel and needed a campaign committee I asked her to join and she came by my house to make signs. I lost the election but we stayed freinds. Suzanne was selling tickets to a YWCA street dance and I bought one. The dance got rained out and she felt bad and asked if I wanted to go to a movie. Her mom drove and that was our first date.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?WE scraped up enough money to take my mother to Ireland to see the home where her mother was born. Great adventures, driving on the other side of the road, B&Bs, and finding the homestead. This was a lifetime dream for my mom and wonderful to share with her.
What would you do with $20,000?Probably give a gift of some of it to our 4 adult kids and grandkids. Suzanne would love for me to see New York and the Metropolitan Museum. Iwas an art teacher.
