My husband and I have been married since 2004, however I have known my husband since I was 10 years old. He is my best friend.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
I meet my husband when I was 11 years old and he was 14. He was one of my brothers friends. He used to tell my brother growing up that he was going to marry me one day, and after a long sting of girlfriend's for him and a very bad abusive relationship for me we found our way to each other when we were in our 20s.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? We got married during a hurricane in 2004 and on our honeymoon got stranded at our hotel room with no food. We went walking looking for some food and were stopped by a police officer for being out during a curfew. He explained that the curfew was about to be lifted when the eye hit and then we could walk to a store to find food. My husband walked 30 minutes to a store and got as much as he could, which wasn't much. We dined on Oreos, lunch meat and had some milk to drink. It was the best meal.
What would you do with $20,000?Probably buy a wheelchair van for my daughter, and maybe go on a 2nd honeymoon.
