Our story started on January 3, 2022 with margaritas in Tuscaloosa, AL. We clicked instantly. Three years later, same date, same dinner, but this time in Akron, OH. Tony asked, "Will you marry me?" and I said, "Yes!" A Georgia girl and Connecticut guy, unknowingly neighbors in Alabama, meant to cross paths at just the right time. It was always meant to be.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory is from last football season. Tony’s team was playing in South Carolina, and I had just finished a week on the road recruiting. I drove 10 hours home to Georgia, met my family, and we all carpooled another 4 hours to catch the game, only staying 12 hours before turning around, just long enough to cheer him on and crash for a few hours. The next day, we turned around and did it all again. Total chaos—but we wouldn’t trade it for the world.
What would you do with $20,000?We just got married at the end of June, so $20,000 would be an incredible start to building our life together. As a coaching family, our schedules are packed and time off is rare, so part of this would go toward a much-needed winter vacation after football season. The rest would help us start our family, set up a strong foundation for the future, and enjoy the little things that matter most in this new chapter of life.
