Connect How did your love story begin?

It all started in kindergarten when we held hands. It proceeded to continue on and off over the years in elementary. We missed an opportunity in Junior High and then we found each other sophomore year again. This is where the magic of our love had us like two peas in a pod. We moved out together,got our first dog together, we got married, and then had 2 beautiful boys. Ours souls met that first day in Kindergarten when we first made eye contact and from then God had a plan for us.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It's hard to describe our favorite. Our first kiss that lead to the magic of us being together? Our first dance at homecoming? Working together at Frank's Nursery our Senior year? Getting engaged under the Mackinaw Bridge? Having everything go wrong at our wedding? Or maybe its the moment we brought our first son into this world. We honestly couldn't tell you because there has been so many. We are going to be 43 and we have known each other for 37 years. Maybe every memory is our favorite.

What would you do with $20,000?

There are many things we could do with it, but I think helping one of our parents with their household burdens would be suffice, investing it in making it easier for them to fix their house. And if they won't take the help, then fixing our house would be high on the list. And thats the truth, I could be like, hey we're going to Disney, or let's set sail to Hawaii, but our home is important. And if helping one of our parents is the answer then so be it.
