Kate met David in 2018 when she brought her pittie to him for training at Miracle K9. He messaged her in early 2019, took her out for a cheeseburger, and they’ve been together ever since. In 2020, they spent the pandemic walking their four dogs and supporting local spots. After Kate volunteered abroad for COVID response, they planned their wedding over beers—before he even proposed. Their love has been easy, fun, and full of dogs from the very beginning.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory? Getting married—three times! A sweet ceremony at a friend’s studio in Jan 2021, a perfect summer wedding by Lake Erie with a brewery celebration, and a final party in Kate’s hometown. Each one let us celebrate with the people we love most. Getting to share those moments and our love in such personal ways has been one of the best parts of our life together.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d use the prize to take our families to Italy—home to both of our ancestries. Our parents have given so much to help us succeed, and we’d love to give back by sharing this once-in-a-lifetime experience. From pasta and wine to exploring the places our families came from, it would be a dream come true—and something we couldn’t do without this opportunity.
