Our story has many beginnings that even we didn’t know at the time, but we met our freshman year of high school at a sporting event. Meech had just lost their grandmother, so they had only barely remembered him. Next school year, he saw them sitting under a tree, waiting for their bus. He was in photography, so he asked if he could take their picture because he said they looked beautiful. They exchanged social medias and have been inseparable ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Besides our wedding, graduating high school together is our favorite memory and achievement. Meech was always an honors student because they channeled their depression into school, but Zh’dore struggled. Despite extremely challenging situations, such as homelessness and addict parents, he was able to buckle down and complete high school on time. Getting ready to walk the stage together with our family present will always be the most special moment.
What would you do with $20,000?We would both go back to school, Zh’dore for his CNA license and Meech for Early Childhood Education. We would also buy or put a down payment on a car and travel to Colorado together to see the Rocky Mountains.
