Connect How did your love story begin?

In the unlikeliest place—behind prison walls as Law Enforcement Off—faith brought us together. I met my husband while he came to pick up an inmate and what began as a simple conversation grew into something divine. Hope anchored us through letters, prayers, and dreams of freedom. Love blossomed beyond bars, and when the gates opened, we walked out hand in hand into purpose. Now, as Team Thompson, we stand as proof that God writes the best love stories—rooted in faith, hope, and unshakable love.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our most cherished memories is serving together in outreach ministry for the homeless—hand in hand, hearts united, giving hope where it was needed most. Charles prayed while I passed out meals, and we both felt God’s presence in every hug, every tear. Afterward, we’d hit the gym, encouraging each other rep by rep. On weekends, we’d travel—laughing, exploring, making memories. Whether serving or sweating, Team Thompson does life in love, purpose, and unity—walking out faith, together.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would do what we love most—give back to the homeless community, side by side, hearts full of compassion. Serving meals, praying with strangers, and offering hope became our joy. Then, we’d celebrate that same love with a beautiful wedding, surrounded by family and friends who witnessed our journey. It wouldn’t just be a ceremony—it would be a testimony.
